Benzolift

Benzolift is a pyrotechnic composition composed of whistle mix and Black powder in a ratio of 70/30, although the ratio applies to whistle mix and black powder the two seperate powders aren't usually combined in this way, the chemicals are added together as though the benzolift is a composition in it's own right, not a hybrid mix. As it's name suggests, it is primarily used as a lift powder, used for the firing of small aerial shells and mines. It has also been used as the break charge in aerial shells. Handling loose whistle mix is hazardous at the best of times, so for safety it is best that a wet mixing process is employed in it's manufacture. As far as power and function goes, benzolift is up there with some of the best lift powder around at the moment.
